Salesforce Summer '21 Release Highlights

Quick Links

Salesforce Summer ’21 Release is scheduled to arrive in your Salesforce org the weekends of June 4th and June 11th. Once again there are numerous new features throughout the Salesforce Platform, editions, and industries. I will highlight several that should be most useful for you.

Please be very aware that February 1, 2022, Salesforce will be requiring Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to log into your Salesforce org. Now is the time to start making preparing to get this turned on. You will not want to wait until January to do this. I have included some details to help you with this process.

In Setup search for Einstein Search and select Enable Einstein Search. This is only available in Lightning Experience and all versions of the Salesforce Mobile app. There are three different selection that you can turn on which are:

  • Personalization: Get the most relevant search results for each user.

  • Actionable Instant Results: Instantly access record previews, actions, quick links, and suggested searches.

  • Natural Language Search: Find information using common words or phrases. This feature requires actionable instant results.

You can add accounts as campaign members from related lists and create standard and custom reports to track their engagement. Make sure this feature is turned on in Setup. This change is available in all Salesforce editions.

Add the Campaign History Related list to Account’s page layout if needed. From the Campaign History Related List click the Add to Campaign button and select the campaign to which you want to add the Account.
